As the COVID-19 pandemic has led to many events being shut down due to public safety reasons, ASGSR is keeping a close eye on this evolving situation. Please see the below message from Dr. Gale Allen, the ASGSR Executive Director.
March 16, 2020.
Dear ASGSR Members and Colleagues,
The ASGSR Governing Board is very concerned about the COVID-19 pandemic, and we wish you, your family, and friends well during this unprecedented time. At the spring Governing Board meeting in March, the state of the 2020 ASGSR Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for the first week of November, was discussed. The ASGSR will fully comply with all federal, state, county, and city restrictions and orders. The Board directed the organizing committee to monitor the situation, and a decision on whether to hold or cancel this year’s meeting will be made by the end of September. If the meeting is canceled, all registration fees will be refunded. Please be aware that the organizing committee will continue to plan the meeting, and an announcement for abstract submissions will be released in the next couple of months.
The health and well-being of our Society’s membership is of utmost concern and priority to the ASGSR Governing Board. We wish all good health and well-being during these difficult times.
Best, Dr. Gale Allen
Executive Director, ASGSR
